Towson Sports Medicine and Baltimore Union SC teamed up earlier this year to provide the members of the the club and their families access to comprehensive sports medicine services to those participating in youth sports. Towson Sports Medicine provides athletic training services at club events, a large referral network of sports medicine physicians and therapists, and educational programming for players and families alike.
Mike Griffith, Director of Coaching and Soccer Operations describes Baltimore Union SC as “A local club soccer program based out of White Marsh, MD. Our club’s focus is centered on enhancing the club soccer experience for families and creating a culture that provides proper resources and support to promote player and coach development.”
The club has over 40 boys and girls teams from U8-U19. The teams are made up of players who are from all across Baltimore County, City and Harford County. Their coaching staffs include former Professional and College standouts as well as many current High School coaches.
When asked about the importance of partnering with a group like TSM, Griffith answered: “I believe that our relationship with TSM is a large part of one of our biggest goals which is to enhance the player experience as well as provide our club members with additional resources to promote development. TSM relationship provides our players and coaches with the educational support and resources to help our athletes and coaches perform at the highest level on the field.”
